Reverse Confetti March Release Blog Hop

It's New Release Blog Hop time at Reverse Confetti! All of the new product we've been featuring the past few days are NOW AVAILABLE in the Reverse Confetti store!

If you've already started today's hop, then you should have arrived here from Amy Tsuruta's blog. If not, head over to the Reverse Confetti blog to begin! When you're finished here, you'll be heading to Leigh Penner's blog next.

Is this the best RC release to date? I think so! I have two projects to share today, so let's get started!

First up is the darling THE BUZZ stamp set and coordinating THE BUZZ Confetti cuts dies. I used a stencil and Distress inks to create the background. The bee is stamped on polka dot vellum, die-cut, and layered over a white die-cut. I colored the yellow stripes with Copic markers.

There's an offset panel of patterned paper for just a subtle hint of pattern and color. And the background has been splattered with black and yellow mists. For the sentiment, I selectively inked just the words "happy" and "day" and heat embossed them in white on black card stock. With the bee in between, you've got the full happy bee day sentiment -- so cute!

Next up is a card featuring MORE THAN JELLYBEANS and the coordinating MORE THAN JELLYBEANS Confetti Cuts.

I stamped the egg in Spring Pansy Versamagic ink, die-cut it and nestled it between some hand-cut grass and a banner strip that I die-cut using the TAG ME Confetti Cuts. Some machine stitching using gold thread adds a little something special, as does the vellum and the bit of paper doily peeking out underneath. Last, I added a trio of clear sequins for some shine.

I love your cards too, especially the second one with the -- it looks like lavender to me, but it's late and my eyes are tired, so forgive me if it's not! The yellow and gray is always a cheerful combination!
